Windsurfing: Ynyslas Estuary
Wind Direction: NE
Wind Stength: 25-15 knots
Surf / Sea State: Flat
Air Temperature: 20ºC
Sea Temperature: 14ºC
Weather: Sunny
Max Speed: 28.0 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 11.9 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

The estuary was doing its thing yesterday, I checked the wind first thing in the morning and it was howling at around 30-35 knots. Unfortunately I had to go to work and there wasn't enough water anyway... Although there would have een enough for an offshore session on the seafront.

I went back around 11am to find a steady 25 knot wind and now plenty of water in the channel so I rigged my sputnik and 5m Tomahawk sail for a bit of a speed session. Once on the water I was powered up OK, but for real speed could have done with a little more. It was also pretty choppy in places, so my Max speed was a disappointing 28 knots. I made some lovely wide arc carve gybes though.

The wind soon dropped off after a while though, so instead of re-rigging I packed up and went home.
